That’s right, fellow bookworms!! November brings us one step closer to the magical time of Christmas, grants us an opportunity to give thanks AND gifts us with countless amazing new books! Below, I listed the ones I am particularly excited for this month:
Royal family scandals? Political maneuvers? Arranged marriages? Rebellious princes and princesses? Conniving plays for power orchestrated by the one and only, the legendary, Queen Victoria? Sing me up for that! Out November 14th.
Out November 1st, this book promises to be a thrilling ride, following the story of Henry and his family, and Eve, the weird and abandoned girl’s obsession with them. The blurb gives me serious spooky vibes so this is a certain future addition to my shelves.
As I was browsing through Goodreads a while ago, I remember coming across this book, reading its title, taking a look at that cover and immediately thinking “Ooooh, a new Liane Moriarty goodie” before noticing the author. However, it is recommended for Liane Moriarty and Amy Hatvany fans, and that’s just another reason to give this a try. Out November 21st.
Guys, you know you’re a fan of this type of book if the blurb is literally “…a falling for my older brother’s best friend romance” and your immediate thought is: I.Must.Read.It.
Dear November 30th, can you get here faster?
Out November 7th.
It has been so long since I’ve read some cute and sexy chick lit. In fact, I haven’t read one this year at all and I’ve been searching for the right one to do the honors but I felt like they were all either too similar to the ones I’ve already read or a continuation of a series I’m not sure I wanted to commit to. When I see saw this Lauren Layne book in the Goodreads November new releases list, I knew this was going to be it. I’ve read Isn’t She Lovely and After The Kiss and they both made for very fun and interesting light reading that delivered nothing more than what they offered: entertainment to pass the time, so I’m hoping this one will too. Out November 7th.
A psychological thriller that follows a troubled marriage while it devolves into something irreversibly wrong. It gives me serious Gone Girl vibes and I can’t wait for it to be out November 21st.
Gayle Brandeis’ memoir plunges into the dark and complex world of her family history and takes us along for the ride as she uncovers the truths surrounding her mother’s suicide. Out November 14th.
A teen declaring she is Death trapped in a human body and attempting to leave this plane of existence by attempting suicide lands her in a psych ward. Why will no one believe her?
What most intrigues me about this book is I can’t really tell what it will be about. Will it be a supernatural thriller about a girl who is actually possessed by the Death? Or is it a psychological thriller with an unexpected and twisted ending? Does it have a deep and meaningful message about life ?
One thing I know is this book promises a lot of sass and irony, the cover of the Grim Reaper taking a selfie with a pink cellphone can guarantee that much.
These books and many others got me counting down the days ’til they’re out like a madwoman.
How about you? What are your most anticipated books coming out this month?
Which one of the above caught your attention?
